The project
Overview
Stronger Together supports women leaders, community representatives and protection committees to prevent gender-based violence and strengthen local safeguarding systems. The work includes rights training, community dialogue and practical referral support in Hodan and the wider Banadir region.
Objectives
Strengthen community-based protection, improve access to GBV information and referrals, and support women to lead local safeguarding actions.
How we implement
Women’s rights and protection training, Community Protection Committee refreshers, and community meetings on available GBV services.
Who we reach
Women leaders, displaced women, community protection committees and at-risk households in Banadir.
